This FJ60’s first home was in Los Angeles, where a doctor used it for weekend trips to Lake Tahoe. It then migrated to Durango, Colorado and then Farmington, New Mexico where we came across her. An oil galley plug worked its way loose and the driver failed to notice the drop in oil pressure, resulting in the need for an engine rebuild…which quickly turned into a full mechanical restoration. This California spec FJ60 is now living with its new family in Texas.
