As they say in Belize “Go slow and go smooth”, words to live by…and one of our favorite mantras for overland vehicle operations training. Being in a hurry often leads to mistakes, and in the worst case catastrophe. The demands of modern life can cause many of us to operate at an unhealthy and unnatural pace, this can make it difficult to slow down mentally and and go at the speed in which the terrain or situation dictates…as slowly as possible and as quickly as necessary. In addition to overland vehicle operations is all too easy to get caught up in the grind and ignore the need to feed our souls, a few hours on the trail is sometimes all it takes to reset things. We’re very lucky to have a shop surrounded by public land, truly something not to be taken for granted. 🙂
