Tiny House Tundra

Tiny House Tundra

The Tiny House Tundra concept came from years of extended back country patrols and overlanding in a variety of platforms. Where some vehicles excelled off road they performed poorly on pavement, some were great on the road but didn’t fair well off road, and some featured roof top tents which are great for sleeping yet they provide very little actual living space. Thus we began the quest for a vehicle that could cover any terrain and at the end of the day provide shelter from the elements in well appointed quarters. The Tundra provides reliability and power, as well as range with its 38.5 gallon fuel tank, the Four Wheel Campers Hawk is not only luxurious but beautifully built. The build started with us being the first to properly install a Norweld flatbed on a Tundra, a process that took some trial and error to get the center of gravity as low as possible. Then came suspension tuning, designing and building our Growler Valley Bracket, which holds two pairs of Maxtrax, a propane tank, and a trash bag. An ARB bumper provides front end protection and an ARB twin air compressor handles airing up with ease. The build process is constantly evolving and being field tested, which helps us determine what products will best suit our customer’s needs. We’re looking forward to continuing the build and more field testing!
